Last Day in Oxford

Today, we went to the Pitt Rivers Museum and the Museum of Natural History.
This museum was really weird...and Brendan was in heaven. Basically, none of the objects are really organized by place or time but categories are more based on ideas or usage. They also always explained how objects were acquired. Example "taken from a child in the jungle because this is inappropriate for a child to play with." Okay then.

Next, we visited the botanical gardens, the most beautiful place in Oxford.
I could have stayed forever.

We also got a tour of Magdalen college and ate good British food--veggie tart for dinner was most nice! And we met Tony's friend Maria.

We walked/were on our feet for about 7 solid hours today. I'm still getting used to that and it hurts!

We just watched the season finale of Game of Thrones. Luckily, we've managed to stay caught up while gone. It was the best episode in a while!

Tomorrow we're off to Northern France by train and ferry. We'll be on the Ferry overnight, so the next blog post could be in a couple of days.

Until then,
<3 S&B
